Is there a way to remove water marks on rubber and if not will it affect the overall bat??\ Will a slight dent in the bit wood between the rubbers also affect the overall bat?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Luke,

The water marks shouldn’t effect the rubber as long as the water hasn’t been there for too long.

The wood chips usually don’t effect the bat because they are usually near the edge of the bat where you don’t often hit the ball.

Hi Alois,

I don't know what you mean by the water being there for too long. The marks on my rubber are from what I believe to be water which hasn't dried properly.

The dent is not from a chip but it was caused when I hit the bat against the table from a failed pendulum serve.

Is the dent on the edge of the bat?  If it is then it won’t matter.  It will only be a problem if it is near the middle of the racket.

Does the rubber feel grippy still where the water marks are?
