Strokes
Hi, my question is, I always try to hit a smash, topspin and backhand during a normal friendly play but the flies away instead of touching the board, but I do a shadow play everyday in my house, so can you suggest me how to play better? Even my angle goes wrong and I can't complete the shot?
Hi Himanshu,
Keep working on the technique when you are hitting the ball. Shadow play is good but there is nothing like getting the feedback of what the ball is actually doing.
One thing that I find is a common problem with smashing is players tend to not move their feet into position quickly enough when the ball is in the air. Use that time to get yourself into position and then make your stroke when the ball is in the right position.
