Serving
hello coach, when serving a backspin sidespin serve do you make contact on lower left side of the bat rubber(lower meaning part furthest away from handle) or the right side ? Thanks
manuel
Hi Manuel,
Try to get it as far away from the handle as possible. Then also get it on the leading edge rather than at the back of the bat. If you are right handed and doing a forehand serve then it would be the left edge.
What do you need to think about when starting to learn serves and you are wanting to improve? There are a few factors that you can focus on. We help you to understand those factors and then how to work on them.

Alois?
when see players serve they tilt a bit to the right after the toss and then comes in with the body while they brush it ,should you that?
Hi Alvin,
The rules says it has to be thrown up almost vertically. There is room for interpretation for that.

I Sometimes do it in school
Not technically Aasim. It does need to go straight up and down.
