Backhand topspin off slow ball

Hi,

I am finding very difficult to return slow backspin return.  whenever I do backhand topspin to this, ball goes very high & my opponent  just smashed it. please help me with this.

Hi Rajul,

You can still topspin this ball but keep it lower over the net.  To lift the backspin take a look at our lesson on the Backhand Topspin Off Backspin.  Also think about where you are placing the topspin.  Try to keep the ball deep on their side.  Also place it to their weaker blocking side.

If you can generate more speed on your stroke you can also have the stroke go more forward and get it faster.
