Strokes
Greetings coach. I want to ask you about the backhand topspin follow through. I am not able to hit my backhand topspin fluently due to my wrong follow through. Whenever i hit a backhand topspin it either rushes to the net or goes out of the table. Can you tell me what is the correct backhand topspin follow through using which i can hit a fluent backhand topspin?
Thank you.
Hi Jack,
There are a few ways to think about the finish position for the topspin. One is to think of your arm being a ramp at the end of the stroke.
Another way is to make sure that your bat goes past your elbow in the swing. You can also pick out a spot on the roof that you can get your hand to move towards at the end of your swing.
