Hi Alois/Jeff,

I was wondering if the backhand flick against backspin would be more of speed than spin or more of spin than speed.

Thanks

Hi Luigi,

If the ball has backspin it is better to put a bit more topspin rather than speed to lift the ball over the net.

Countering a Chop Block

The key is to countering a chop block is to ensure you wait for the ball as it comes through much slower compared to a normal block. You also need to lift the ball more than you would against a regular block.
