Hi Pingskillsteam!

My question is how to make a countertopspin at the table if my opponent made a topspin.
Like rallies you see between the chinese team especially Ma long and Zhang jike...

whats the technically correct stroke?
I don´t have enough control in my stroke!
please give me an answer ..

Hi Andi,

Firstly you need to develop the control by blocking well.  Once you have done that the counter topspin is an extension of the block.  You have a little bigger backswing and follow through.  Your contact is brushing.  You can have your stroke go nearly completely forward because you don't need to lift the ball at all because they have already provided the topspin.
