How to do a backhand block with a penhold grip?

I tried it but it's very difficult to rotate the hand...

Hi John,

You are right this can be an awkward stroke with the penhold grip.

Try using your fingers a little to get the angle of the bat right.  If you rely only on the hand to turn over it will be really difficult.  Think about moving your thumb and forefinger to get the angle right.
