Hi Anuj,

Take a look through our tutorials on the various Backhand strokes that you will find in the Strokes section.  These will give you the basics of how to play these strokes.

When you start to think about the switching from forehand to backhand there are a few things to think about:

  1. Making a good decision about which stroke to play can be practised by asking your training partner to feed you balls around the cross over area.

  2. Work at maintaining a more neutral finish to your strokes which will allow you to move to the next ball efficiently.

Work on this area and you will find it will translate into your matches as well.
