Dear alois,

i have a lot of problems on returning spinny serves with my backhand and i also have problems with my backhand topspin.  Can you give me some hints of improving these weak points of mine.

Hi Josh,

Returning spinny serves is difficult.  Experience is your best friend here.

Think about the angle of your bat when you are returning.  If the ball goes off to the left then you need to face you bat to the right and vice versa.

Make sure you are keeping your hand relaxed while making the return.

We have a DVD available for purchase through our site.  Purchase Receiving Secrets Revealed for lots more information.

Regarding the backhand topspin you should work hard on the stat and finish position of your bat.  Start low and finish high.  See if you can take another look at the lesson on the Backhand Topspin.

Good luck with it.
