I use a pimple layer for my backhand and I was checking out Japanese player Mima Ito . She also uses Pimple on her backhand but she somehow attacks with it... My question is can someone using pimple layer attack with it? And do you know any good international players who use pimple so that I can follow them.

Hi Abhishek,

Mima Ito is a good example for you.  You can attack with the short pimples.  You need to be more accurate because you can’t generate as much spin.  Hit the ball at the top of the bounce.

But you can also attack with longpips :D

I have seen the Great Defenders,Joo Sae Hyuk and Koji Matsushita, almost in all their matches that are available on the youtube.

If they once decided that they will attack with longpips,if they managed to get it on the table, they won in 80%.
