Training
I am a lower-intermediate defensive player and I want better attack skills. My club offers private lessons from a professional for $40/hr. Is it worth it/ how much would I learn?
Hi Riley,
I think private lessons are worth it because they can concentrate on you and give you personal feedback. Of course it depends on the ability of the coach as well.
To confuse your opponent you need to produce variations in spin. Just by mixing up heavy backspin and light backspin, you make it really difficult for your opponent to control the ball. In this master class we discuss the best ways to achieve this.

I think you can do a try for 2-3 sessions. And if you don't feel anything better, change the coach.
