Hi Alois I was wondering why Anton Kallberg serves so many topspin par gerrel serves and not a lot of backspin ones? Thanks Tam

Hi Tam,

I think he likes the opponent to flick or open up the game.  When he serves topspin, the receiver is more likely to play this type of ball.

Variation of Spin

Varying the spin on your serve makes it harder to return. You can vary the type of spin but possibly even more effective is varying the amount of spin.
