I'm a TT beginner. Recently I had a hard time against someone, who attacked with an "anti". His shots lacked the usual rotating stability and easily fell into the net. This impressed me, especially as anti spin rubbers are seldom recommended. Few professional players use them, e.g. Dan Seemiller. They seem to me a good weapon nonetheless.

Now I looked them up in online shops and found, some of them have a score for effect of about 40 (Donic Anti Classic) whereas others score an effect of 105 (Dr. Neubauer Bison). What does this mean? Is the "Bison" more anti and slippery than the "Donic" ?

Hi Herbert,

I think you are right with this that the bigger the number the more reversal they have on the spin on the ball.

One of our equipment gurus will be able to help you out I am sure.
