Hi! What should be the angle of racket in a forehand and backhand chop. And which part of the ball should the contact be in a chop. Thank you:-)!

Hi Harikrishnan,

The angle of your bat when chopping depends on the amount of topspin on the stroke. If there is a lot of topspin then your bat angle should be quite vertical and you should come straight down and hit the back of the ball.

If there is less topspin on the ball then you can open up the angle of your bat some more and hit more underneath the ball.
