Training
Hi Alois, i trained very consistently for 2 weeks 4 hours a day and i improved alot after that but then my cousin came and i had to leave the game for a week, but when i came back playing, i played worse than what i improved, do you think i should just keep playing to get my skill back or i should train? Also how long will it take?
Thanks for reading!
Hi Pasquale,
The key is to just get back on and keep training. It is OK to have some breaks and your form may decrease temporarily but it will all come back again.
Question actions
Although attacking is the most popular style at the top level in Table Tennis, it is important to be able to defend well. If you choose to play a defensive style then you should be practicing these strokes all the time. If you play an attacking stroke then you should still try and find some time for these strokes. If you can win one extra point by defending well when pressured, it could make the difference between winning and losing.

Ok thanks!, but it's because i also mastered the my forehand and backhand topspin technique slowly with the robot, so a day after i did fast ones and almost all of them went in the table, but after the break i got alot less in, does that mean i have to get back to the slow practice again or just keep practicing normally? Also its because the week that was coming i was planning to focus on generating speed
Thank you!
Hi Pasquale,
Do a day of control and then when it feels good increase the speed.
