Hi guys,

Just watched your video; great by the way.

One quick question though, when do you hit the ball? when its at the top of the bounce? almost at the top? Also, when you said that you have to be square onto the table, did you mean square on to where you are also hitting the ball to?

Hi Matt,

For a faster stroke it is best to try and hit the ball close to the top of the bounce.  You can let it drop slightly but if you let it drop too much you have to do too much work to lift it over the net.

Square on does mean to where you are hitting the ball.  In general though when you are starting out, use the table as your guide.
