Choosing a Racket as a Beginner

Not sure what racket to buy when you're starting out? Avoid rackets with a pimpled rubber and no sponge underneath. They won't let you generate any spin. Look for a rubber with grip and a bit of sponge instead, so you can start developing topspin, backspin and control from the beginning.
