Dear Alois,

I was looking at some Youtube videos of Zhang Jike playing and I noticed that he usually returned the serves with a powerful backhand flick.

From my point of view, it looked like he was aiming for a particular spot even though the ball was coming at him pretty fast from the server.

Could you please explain to me what he was doing exactly?

He uses the Backhand Sidespin flick a lot.
