Hi Guys, at the local club i play at is seaching for juniors, they have a wonderful program, with stacks of adults, bats, balls etc, but they are failing to get kids from the community in the door any suggustions as they have tried schools, youth centres, how do you guys in victoria get them in the door?

Hi Luke,

The schools are the best way to go.  I think one of the important parts is what is done in the schools.  The second part is what is on offer for them when they get to the club.  I have found that now you need to put in a sustained effort in the schools before you can get juniors to come to the club.

It would be interesting to know how big your community is because this often makes a difference.  Let me know and we can discuss this further as it is an important topic.
