Hi, I'm having trouble with my backhand topspin, because I don't know the proper wrist action, do you flick your wrists through the ball, our do you brush up on the ball, because the ball flys off the table when I do it    Please help!  Thanks, Ian

Hi Ian,

It is more of a forward motion, especially if the ball is going off the table.  Let the wrist relax and flow forward.

Most players are told to always return to the ready position after every stroke but that might be hurting your game. In this video, we reveal a smarter way to recover:

✔ Track the ball immediately after your shot
✔ Move your racket into position for the next shot instead of blindly resetting
✔ Improve your timing, balance, and flow during rallies

Whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, understanding this subtle change can have a big impact on your consistency and speed around the table.

With that tip, I'm not just hitting it on the table, I'm hitting it faster!
