Hi PingSkills

you said that pendulum serve is a serve to use wrist so that the ball will have more spin and speed on it but i think that the wrist movement just will give another spin right ?
so if i want to make a backspin serve by brush underneath the ball, then i move my wrist, does the ball brushed to another spin and make it sidespin ? and also when do a sidespin serve by brush the side of the ball and when move the wrist, the ball brushed up and make it a topspin so it'll be not a pure spin right ? but why you said it will make more spin on it ?

some advice please, so i know what should i do for my serve

thank you very much.

Hi Frendy,

When trying to generate more spin, you need to use your wrist.  This doesn't matter which direction you are trying to spin the ball, you just need to use more wrist for each of them.

High Toss Serve

The high toss serve looks spectacular and it gets results. It is particularly suited to the pendulum serve but we encourage you to try it out with all of your serves. Follow these instructions and add the high toss serve to your repertoire.

Yes you should use your wrist for all spin serves.
