Worn Rubber

i heard rubber deteriorates when your're using it or even if your not using it. You can expand it's life by protecting it.

but a rubber that is brand new still factory sealed: will it deteriorate in effects and tech?

but one opened does?

The rubber does deteriorate even if you don't use it but if it is sealed in its packet it will only deteriorate very very slowly as it is air tight and will not get any dust or dirt on it. If it is out of its packet then the effects of dirt and air will effect the rubber over time but not as fast as if it is being used constantly.
