Wood vs Carbon

My eqipment combination is
1.Mark v rubber
2.Stiga all round classic blade
Which is preferable for me if I am mainly a defensive player but attack sometimes :
A wood blade or a carbon blade

Hi Sushmit,
There are different speeds of wood and carbon blades. I would go with an all round speed blade. Probably wood to start with.

My equipment is stiga carbonado 290 with dhs hurricane 3national blue sponge for forehand and tenergy 05 -FX for backhand

Sushmit Ghosh...For a defensive player who likes to selectively attack, I would recommend the "Cornilleau Simon Gauzy Quest Off" blade. It's a wood blade which is more All round than offensive, it doesn't have the power as carbon blades do but still pretty good for some offensive shots. it also has amazing control which would be ideal for your game as well.
