Hi Alois and Jeff,

Day after tomorrow I have a very important tournament and for that my coach gave me some information of my opponent.

He said that my opponent is a lefty and uses a wide serve and good at backhand topspin.

What does that wide serve mean?

Hi Tushar,

It means that he will probably be serving fro his backhand corner and serving wide to your forehand.  If he does take a small step to your forehand side when you are in your receiving position.  Since he has a good backhand, try to play the returns down the line when you can so that it stays away from his backhand side.

How to swing a ball while serving?

Hi Tushar,

The swing comes from the sidespin.  By brushing the side of the ball or across the back of the ball you can generate the sidespin.
