hi, i want to know who gets the serve for example the player gets the serve, then after 2 serves of the same person the next player serves? or is it that the player gets to serve when the he/she scores a point?

Hi Yiejian,

You need to change serves every 2 points. So you will serve for two points whether you win or lose them. Then it is my turn to serve for two points.

This continues till the end of the game. If the score gets to 10 all then you have one serve each until someone is two points in front.

At the start of a match you can toss to decide who serves first. At the start of the second game the other person will serve first. This changes at the start of each game as well.

Also, when the second game starts, whoever side of the table won the coin toss serves and the players switch sides so it is always the same side that starts the serve; it is just a change around of the sides of the table for players between games.
