Hey guys,

Sometimes I have no one to play with. So instead I practice my serves with some balls, pick them up and just keep repeating. It gets boring sometimes so I tried making a practice up.
Instead of serving, I bounced the ball on the table and tried variety of strokes (Hookshot, Smash, Chop, Flick, etc. most of them I learned in your vids).

Since you guys are really good coaches, I was hoping for your opinion in this? Will this actually help me? Should I stick to practicing my serves?

Hi Jin,

Both practice methods will help.  I think that the serving practice will be more beneficial as it is more reflective of a real match situation.

The hitting of shots could also be done using a return board or hitting against a wall.
