When to use Advanced Equipment

Can you give me your advice of when should a player switch to composite blades and tensor rubbers?

What I fear is that I may develop bad habits as there aren't any good coaches here to guide me.

What are your thoughts on this being someone who sticked with his very very old blade for the past years?

I think if you have been playing regularly and have developed the basic strokes well then you can move on to a composite blade.

It is a matter of development of your technique.  If the ball is flying around and you can't control it then you should stil be using something slower but if you can control the ball well you can start to move onto faster equipment.
