Hi Alois,
As an intermediate player, I'd like to know when to switch from my pre-made bat (DHS A6002) to a custom made bat. Although the A6002 is the best pre-made bat, its Chinese rubbers are heavy and the sponge is hard, though other brand's pre-made bat aren't as good. With a custom-made bat, I could mix the Chinese rubbers' hard sponge with something softer.
What would be an "expectation" to gain to the custom-bat-level?
Thanks!
Signed,

Hi Jason,
When yo feel that you are playing your strokes correctly and they are very consistent then you can think about switching to a Custom made racket.
Take a look at this video on Choosing a Table Tennis Bat.
Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
