Strokes
I was watching your videos on lessons of topspin, using the backhand and forehand and I was asking myself that if wanted to make a good stroke using both hands were exactly should the ball hit the paddle, is it in the center or is it a little bit on the edges, if you could answer me that question I'll be thankful.
Samuel
Hi Samuel,
To get better lift, try to get the contact a little more to the top of the bat. For more speed contact the ball in the centre of the bat.
Start though by getting the ball to contact in the centre of the bat and work on from there.
Question actions
The forehand counterhit or forehand drive is the foundation for more attacking strokes such as the forehand topspin or forehand loop. There are 3 critical factors:
If you concentrate on these 3 factors then your stroke will become extremely consistent. Once you can reliably hit 100 balls in a row then you are ready for more attacking strokes. If you can hit 1,000 balls on in a row then you know you've truly mastered the stroke.
