I lost a match becase I didn't know what to do against shortpips
thanks Lars
Hi Lars,
Short pimples can be tricky when you first play against it.
The pimple tends to flatten out the spin on the ball. If they block your topspin with the pimples it will feel like it has a little backspin on the ball because of the difference to what you are used to receiving from the inverted rubber.
We have a tutorial for this purpose. Take a look at Help Playing Short Pimpled Rubber.
