Hi Amekun,

They are just ratings on the speed of the wood.  Def is the slowest and Off+ is the fastest.  Def is an abbreviation for Defensive, ALL is an abbreviation for All round and Off is an abbreviation for Offensive.

If you are looking for a racket with more spin and less speed an All round would be best.  Unfortunately I don't know which types of woods will give you that speed.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.

Some advise I'd like to give from experience. The speed ratings for blades is only constrained within a brand. For example, my xiom Allround blade is faster than my LKT Off- blade.
