Equipment
Hi Alois Sir,
Just love Pingskills...
Please tell me how do I convince my coach that I need to buy a new racket. He knows that my previous racket ( DONIC Waldner 800 ) is too slow for me.
My parents have agreed to buy one but my coach delays the decision. He says I need to Improve backhand (that is weak). How do I convince him?
Great to know that you were born in India. What did racket did you use when you played? What did racket do you use now? (Apart from PINGSKILLS Touch )
Was, were and always would be a PINGSKILLS lover.
Aditya
Hi Aditya,
Your coach may be correct. It may be a good idea to wait till your backhand is better before moving up in speed of racket. There is plenty of time to think about better rackets later.
Jeff and I both use the PingSkills Touch and nothing else at the moment. When I played I used a few different bats but the last one was a Butterfly Offensive blade.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
