What blade & rubber?

Hi,

What combination would you recommend for a beginner? I have played table tennis before during my school days but it has been 20 years and now I want to pick up the game again.

Currently I have a Butterfly VSG 21-4000 with Sriver 1.7mm on both sides. Is that combination suitable for me?

Hi Soo,

That combination sounds good to me.  You don't want anything too fast to start with until you get your feel back again.

Stick with it for a few months at least and then see if you feel like getting something faster.
