Hi, I went for playing table tennis on a rainy day (27/09/2013). By mistake while coming back my racket (GKI Kung-Fu) fell in water. At home I saw it, it's colour of rubber has become little fade and I also think that it's foam has absorbed water. Now how to solve this problem.

Hi Abhinav,

Unfortunately I don't think there is a solution.  However it won't effect the performance of the rubber too much.  Play with it and see what it is like.

Apologies if i sounded bit rash. Plz move away from the KungFu-GKI ASAP. My backhand got totally spoiled coz of the Kungfu. It is totally a dead rubber. It gives a feel like long pimpled rubber tho it is inverted. Whatever force u apply to lift a backspin ball by brushing, it will never work out. I changed to Mambo H, and i see very good improvement. Initially i felt i could not control it as it was a huge jump from a dead rubber to medium fast rubber. Then i could make it after seeing lots of videos on "how to make the backhand loops" (of course, Alois and Jeff's videos are my favorite).

My humble suggestion. Nothing against Kungfu, as i have won many matches just because it gives a feel of pimpled rubber. But finally if the opponent understands u, then u r dead.

Thanks Ganesh
