weight of paddle

hi

I am a defensive player and i like to chop a lot. I am about to get a new paddle i want to know whether it would be better for me to get a heavier paddle or a light one. At the moment i am using a  reassembled butterfly Yuki-fl.

Hi Nabeel,

Weight is a matter of preference. I like the lighter weight because I feel like I have more control over what the bat is doing and I can stop it faster to recover for the next shot.

I know some players like the heavier because they feel like they can generate more speed with it. 

Just choose something that feels right for you.  There is no right and wrong answer.
