Hi alois,

When doing the forehand topspin against backspin, does using the wrist help lift the backspin easier? Why?

Hi Eugene,

The wrist will help because you are increasing the speed of the racket which will mean that the lift will be greater.

It can also lead to more errors because of the increased speed but with practice it will help.

Take a look at the lesson on the Advanced Forehand Topspin.  The principles apply.
