Does using glue sheets instead of glue effect racket performance?

Hi Phillip,

I don't think it makes any difference to the performance of the racket.  It is different in its application.

I prefer to use glue because it is easier to deal with when you want to remove the rubber and replace it.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

Glue sheets are the only way to go for applying long pip rubber without sponge.  I have never had a problem with the rubber becoming unattached. I can usually pull the whole glue sheet off the blade.  I think it is a great way to go, but it is expensive.
