TSP Balsa Fitter 6.5, difficult control

Hello!

Well, my first custom raquet is a TSP Balsa Fitter 6.5 with Butterfly Sriver L 1.9 on forehand and TSP Spectol 1.5 on backhand.

Maybe this combination is not perfect for me. I think the rubbers are perfect, but the bat is too rigid and very very light. I'm strong and sometimes, especially when I use the forehand in a short game, or a try to do a topspin, I can't feel good the raquet. It is very difficult to do an effective twist of the wrist.

Otherwise I like this bat because is very good for blocking and very fast and effective with my backhand.

Maybe the best option is change the bat? I'm an allround player, more offensive than defensive and I like to play fast but with control. Any suggestions?

Thank you!!!!

Regards from Barcelona!

Hi Eduard,

There are a thousand option out there.  I think you could persevere with this racquet for a while and see if you can imporve with it.  They are nmot cheap to kep changing so work on your technique for a while and then see if you come to like the racquet more.

Thank you for your comment, Alois. It's true, the last days I improved my technique and now I'm feeling good with this raquet. The last Saturday i've been in a Open and I'm enjoyed a lot. It was my first time playing in a city open. I didn't win any set, but, was curious, I did the best match against the group leader. I understand more better now the tennis table. I want to go to Australia with my girlfriend for a time. Maybe we can visit your club someday! Best regards!
