hi coach,

i wanted to ask that in a tournament or selection it is better to play offence or placing ball so as to confuse the opp.

Hi Utkarsh,

Usually it is best to play with speed as long as you are also thinking about the placement of the ball.

If you can do both that is ideal.

To smash, open up your bat high near your head level and hit the ball flat just like slapping but if it's still out, try the same thing but the slapping action more down i always do this and it work well for me if the opponent is really focus on deffending your smash, keep smash until they're in trouble and then drop shot it also work well for me especially if the opponent have a lack of response

You're welcome :D For sure, you can watch forehand smash video in this website good luck It still have a lot of spin if you can brush it fast and from the finer contact from the edge of your rubber just keep use it until you really need better bat to make a backspin on it, just brush underneath the ball and make the ball spin backward you can brush the back of the ball and come down or brush the under of the ball (any type of brushing action that make the ball spin backwards) sometimes i put sidespin on the backspin so it'll be more effective just try to have more practice, but for sure you can ask sir alois for more because he has a lot of experience than me It still have a lot of spin if you can brush it fast and from the finer contact from the edge of your rubber just keep use it until you really need better bat to make a backspin on it, just brush underneath the ball and make the ball spin backward you can brush the back of the ball and come down or brush the under of the ball (any type of brushing action that make the ball spin backwards) sometimes i put sidespin on the backspin so it'll be more effective just try to have more practice, but for sure you can ask sir alois for more because he has a lot of experience than me ^^

Alois comments hit the nail on the head so does Frendy Halim comments. I was not too bad at tricking or smashing, but Alois video helped me even more. This proves you can never stop learning. If it was not for Ping skills video i would not have improved in this area.
