Hi Alois and Jeff,

Next Tuesday my school will hold a sport games competition as I told you before, and I participate in table tennis. What should I practice within 4 days from now? I couldn't practice because I was in my mid-test.

Thanks a lot!
Regards, Archel

Hi Archel,

From now work mainly on your serves and return of serve and your 3rd ball.

These are the things that are really important in a match situation.

In our 52 week Training Plan we show you in the last 8 weeks how to prepare for a tournament.

In training you should also play a lot of matches.

Good luck with your tournament.  Let us all know how you go.

Well, I'm not a premium member, so I can't access the videos. Any other suggestions? Can I find it on youtube?

Unfortunately no.  Still work on the serve, return and 3rd ball.

Good news! The tournament postponed until 13th February, so I can practice more. I don't have any partner to practice 3rd ball, can I practice it with my robot?

That is difficult.  You can practice topspin against backspin which is the next best thing.

Good you have more time to practice.

What is the best serve to make the 3rd ball easier? My class ask me to participate on doubles, so my partner should execute the ball perfectly

I think a disguised no spin serve is good.  If your opponent reads it as backspin they will put the ball higher for you to make the 3rd ball.

Hi Alois,

Too bad, I lost on the semifinal. I was surprised because I thought that my partner allowed to be a man, but it had to be a woman. I taught her 15 minutes before the tournament, really annoying!

Well done.  It sounds like you have done well.  It is good to partner different players to learn what you can do in different circumstances.
