Hi ping skills,

I have been drawn out of the hat to play against some one better than me in the first round. I have played this person before and beaten him. How can I go into the competition and have a chance against him

Hi Alex,

The best way of preparing is to start to think tactically what you will do during the match.

Think about where you will serve, what type of serves you will do and also what types of service returns you will try for.

In the rally which side is it better to play the ball to?

If you think about these things beforehand you can then also start to practice them leading up to the match.
