 Hi Alois,you can observe Timo boll  top spin different from Ma long Timo boll is short swing but Ma long is long swing. I need to know compare and contrast of short swing and long swing

Hi Dew,

I think for players learning, you should play your forehand more like Ma Long.  This is the safer stroke because the bat is seeing more of the ball.

Boll's forehand works brilliantly for him and for players that are playing every day and training a lot.  However it takes extremely good timing and accuracy to get it right.

We tend towards the safer strokes in our teaching.  This will give you a good base to work from.

When Ma Long loop drive's, how does he balance the amount of speed and spin. and is the finish position way in front of the head.
