Hi Kevin,

They talk about the 10,000 hours principle to master something.  So at 8 hours a week it will take around 1250 weeks or 24 years.

Sounds like a long time doesn’t it.  However you can still improve your game greatly over the years and become a high level player with regular training.

#26 - Serving with Placement

Just by placing your serve better, you'll be able to win more points. Think about what happens when a good server plays you. What positions do they serve to that you find difficult. Try serving to similar positions yourself. We give you plenty of time to practice serving with placement in this week's training session.

Yes, in the mastery. But i i see average players before that after a year, their game really improve a lot in just a year because they have great trainers! so is it possible for me to improve my game? For now, i know how to topspin forehand and loop forehand, but not really in backhand. And i am not good in receiving services yet. I mean in a year, can i be average in all the strokes if i train qith great trainers? Thank you so much for helpong me. =)

Hi Kevin,

Definitely.  If you train 8 hours a week you will see some really big improvements in a year.
