Strokes
hey alois and jeff,
timo boll's forehand topspin is somehow different ( i think ) other top players are finding it difficult to return, does he making any magic in making this forehand?
thanks,
cheers..
Hi Dos,
It does look like magic sometimes. He tends to swing a little lower with his follow through. This makes for a fast forehand but it becomes a little riskier though because of the angle of the racket through the swing. He does it well because of the number of hours of practice he has put in and continues to put in.
A snake shot is a type of stroke which is specifically used against a drop shot. It is usually loaded with a heavy spin so that the opponent finds it difficult to counter. The type of spin can be backspin, sidespin or topspin depending on your choice. You need to make a movement after hitting the ball to confuse your opponent.
