Im an offensive player i mostly try to flick all the short balls but alot of them I can't get them to the other side and sometimes I push alot even the chance balls when I play too safe I want to know how to play safe and offensive
Hi Abdulrahman,
The main factor is the type of spin on the ball and the height of the serve.
If the ball is lower with more backspin then a push is more appropriate. If the ball is higher with no spin or topspin then a flick is the option.
However there are a lot of options in between. This becomes a choice that you make as you start to gain experience with reading spin and recognising the height of the ball early.
We have a tutorial for our Premium members on this. Take a look at what is available in Receiving Options.
