Strokes

how exactly should your thumb be in relation to the top part of your handle(I mean the bit that goes down at an angle where it meets your rubber) when playing a rally. Also does it make a difference if your thumb is off the rubber or too far to the left(i'm right handed) of your rubber. I couldn't really tell from your free video.

Thanks, Thomas

Hi Thomas,

You need to have it comfortably on the bat.  So start with a relaxed hand.  Then feel where it is on your handle.  Personally I find it comfortable just on the bottom of the rubber.  The important thing is that it isn't too far up the rubber so that your hand is tightening up.
