good day sir ..

i used to serve backspin ball and my opponent will push it and that is the time that i will do a topspin but my opponent will just counter topspin the ball .. the ball will comeback to me and my hand is still above my head ..

what should I do to have a successful third ball attack?

Hi Joshnathan,

Try to vary the amount of spin, speed and placement on the ball. This will make it harder for your opponent to get balanced and get a good swing at the counter topspin.

Using a slower ball is often more effective than a faster ball if your opponent is waiting for a fast topspin.

Variation is a key part of match strategy.
