The topspin I use

Whenever I do a topspin, I swipe the air with the bat from the ground then above the table.

Is that right?

Hi Caleb,

YOudon't need to start that low.  Take a look at our lesson on the Forehand Topspin Against Block see where we recommend you to start your stroke.  If there is backspin on the ball you can start lower but not at ground level.
