I've been playing for a year and a half and I've been watching your videos from day one. I had recently found out how important it was to short push when returning serves. Could you please make a video about the short push or give me some general tips.

I tend to short push the ball and it either ends up too high where my opponent can flick or it goes into the net. Thank you for the online videos too!

Hi Junaid,

Watch our video called the push in detail as I think it will help you out. There's also a really good video called keeping the ball low which will also help you a lot with your short pushing.

It's great to see you paying attention to this critical part of the game. Keep up the good work!

#15 - Using Depth

In this session we talk about the length of your placement. Often we think that we need to always hit the ball deeper and faster however sometimes playing a shorter ball during a rally can catch your opponent off guard. If this happens to you, you need to ensure you are able to move forward and deal with the shorter ball.
